It means a lot to me. One, its a quote from Harry Potter, my favorite book series. Secondly, its a little bit of motivation to quit daydreaming and just do what I want. The book The History of Love by Nicole Krauss is about only loving one person. It’s about not being able to let go of them no matter how much distance or time separates you. It, like the loon’s call, is a sad and intensely haunting novel that follows an old man named Leo and his life in old age.He has lost the one girl he ever loved. Leo’s intense love for her, Alma, and his inability to forget about her makes me think of my own inability to leave the lake behind. I won’t ever have another place like that; just as Leo won’t ever have another Alma.
